The country estate Le Nid de Merles
in Normandy, France has three charming buildings. The estate is 200
years old (built during Napoleon's time). While they retain an old-world
charm, the buildings have been renovated and remodeled to include up-to-date
appliances and fixtures.
The name of the estate, Le Nid de Merles,
means "the nest of the blackbirds". It is actually named on the local
map of Normandy. The 4-acre property is surrounded by fruit trees and
located on top of a ridge with spectacular views. (See photos of the
estate and the surroundings.)
